Dr. Ahmed Shamekh is a Senior Attending Physician who was a Consultant Pediatrician at Kings College Hospital NHS Trust for over 12 years before joining Sidra Medicine in December 2017. Dr. Shamekh was the Lead Pediatrician for the Emergency Department at Princess Royal University Hospital. He has an interest in both Diabetes and Medical Education and has been the College Tutor leading the trainee education and training experience. Dr. Shamekh is an experienced MRCPCH examiner for the clinical MRCOCH exam.
